GUIDED TOURS<\/b><\/p>\n

Are reservations required for a guided tour of the site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reservations are not required to join a guided tour of the Droulers site during our opening hours, except for groups of 20 people or more.<\/p>\n

If I do not wish to take a guided tour, can I visit the site on my own?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. You can explore the site independently (admission fees apply). This option gives you access to the permanent exhibition, one of our three longhouses, and the outdoor areas. The two furnished longhouses and the archaeological site can only be accessed as part of a guided tour.<\/p>\n

What is the schedule for guided tours?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

During our opening hours, a guided tour begins every 20 minutes. The last guided tour of the day starts 1.5 hours before the site closes.<\/p>\n

How long does a guided tour last?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

A guided tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n

Are guided tours available in French and English?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guided tours are available in both French and English.<\/p>\n

PREPARING YOUR VISIT<\/b><\/p>\n

Are dogs allowed on the site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. Dogs are welcome on the site, provided they are kept on a leash at all times. We ask owners to help keep the site clean by picking up after their animals.<\/p>\n

Is parking available on site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. Free grassy parking is available for all visitors.<\/p>\n

Can I visit the site in rainy weather?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. The site is open rain or shine. Since part of the visit takes place outdoors, we recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat in case of rain. Umbrellas are also available on site (limited quantities).<\/p>\n

Is there a gift shop on site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. Our gift shop primarily features creations by Indigenous artists and authors, as well as products from local artisans and producers (honey, jams, reproductions of artifacts, etc.).<\/p>\n

Can we have a picnic on site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. A covered picnic area is available free of charge for our visitors.<\/p>\n

Is food service available on site?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. We do not offer food service. However, beverages and snacks are available for purchase at our gift shop.<\/p>\n

I am a member of an Indigenous community. Can I benefit from free admission for a regular visit?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Residents of the Akwesasne, Kahnawake, and Kanesatake communities receive free admission for regular guided tours. Proof of residency may be requested.<\/p>\n

I am a resident of St-Anicet. Can I benefit from free admission for a regular visit?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is the site accessible to people with reduced mobility?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

The site is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility. Some areas have uneven surfaces or obstacles that may limit accessibility. Please contact us before your visit so we can provide guidance based on your needs.<\/p>\n

What does a school or group visit at the Droulers site include?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

We offer two types of visits adapted to school groups and organized groups:<\/p>\n
